In the book i am reading called "lost in place" the boy who is the main character in the book it says "because i adored my gloomy father although he was strict. in the book this boy very much so loved his dad he talks about him and he spends time with him to have conversationns that he think is important with his dad. he has a broth who is two years younger then name erich. he loves his family very much so. what he is trying to do or become in life he would want or like to have his familys support. the boys name i think is mark. being the oldest child he trys to set an example for the youngest. him in his family pretty much gets along and are also able to talk. meaning whatever the problem is or something he wants to get into he always seems to talk to his dad first. his da was married and he was tall and most of all he drove his own volkswagen. his dad was very much so a listener which is way he would always talk to him. however his dad didmt always agree with the things he talked about or even though about trying to become in life. he relates to his family because in some kind a way they all seem to have that likeness in each other from one another as in who they are as a person. in the book he is basicly always talking about his father or has something to say about him thats always positive if not nuthing too bad about him. "my father had a special kind of laugh that he reserved for matters that stuck him as funny in one way but unfunny in another" page 35. sometimes him in his dad gets into it because he feels like sometimes his dad doesnt listen as in here him out. Martha is his dads wife.
