The chacter that sticks out like a sore thumb for doing something not so great would probably have to be the Murahiliin. I struggle with them and at the same time don't agree with them. I do not understand how another human being can force another human being to be something that they are not. The worst part is when that person or persons refuse what is being forced upon them the Murahiliin respond with death and suffering. "Second, because Allah said, Challa ikun neep mabath, "love one another"" (pg 35). With that being said how can you force your god on people who do not want to praise that god, and yet you respond with violence even when the Good Book says to love one another. What I am struggling is just the whole situation of the matter. They have so much passion for anyone who refuses to be killed or made a slave and for what, because they don't like their god. They even take it to the extent to take it out on innocent children. " They burned the crops and nailed a baby on a fig tree like Jesus on the cross." (pg. 48). How can another human being do that, it's like their not humans at all!
Regret, Regret, Live with no Regret. I can honestly say that I have never regreted anything in my life. I truly believe that the things that you go through are also the things that make you who you are. Without struggles how can you learn to be human. Without making a mistake how can you learn for the next time you need to make the decision. No one can tell another person what decision is best for the other person therefore you might go through some things that are tough, but at the same time you might never how great something turned out because of the decision you made. Every decision is a life lesson!
